Horsfall Campground

DIRECTIONS: From North Bend, OR, take US Rt. 101 north for 2 miles to Horsfall Dune and Beach sign. Turn left at sign and go 1.1 miles to "Y" intersection (and Horsfall Beach sign). Bear right at intersection and go 0.5 miles to campground sign. Turn right into campground.

 GENERAL COMMENTS: The elevation is 100 ft. The campground is in a "valley" of dunes near Pacific Ocean. All sites are designated in a parking lot configuration. It is designed primarily for OHV use in the surrounding inland dunefield. There is an ATV loading ramp in the campground. OHV riding in the campground is permitted and there is sand access to the dunes. The campground is one of 10 campgrounds in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.

RATE AND MAXIMUM STAY PERMITTED: Rate: $12 per day - March 1 through October 31 $10 per day - November 1 through February 28 Detached towable is a second vehicle - $7 additional fee. Maximum Stay Permitted (days): 14

Spinreel Campground

DIRECTIONS: From North Bend, OR, take US Rt. 101 north 10.7 miles to campground sign (Wildwood Dr.). Turn left onto Wildwood Dr. and go 0.4 miles to another campground sign. Turn left into campground. 

GENERAL COMMENTS: The elevation is 100 ft. The campground is located in the dunes in Lodgepole pine and mixed shrubs. It is directly accessible to the dunes and Pacific Ocean for OHVs. Saunders and Tenmile Creeks run near the campground. An ATV loading ramp is in the day-use area. OHV riding is permitted in the campground. The campground is one of 10 campgrounds in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. There is dune buggy rental from the Spinreel Dune Buggy Rentals, Inc. at entrance to campground (541-759-3313).
